It may be that climbing is not your forte.
But why don't you join as a team relay, enjoy the flat/hilly portion of the course (the majority of it), and for the last 20km (Stelvio climb) you support & follow your teammates with the team car? Or park the car 3km before the finish line and cross it all together. Arriving at Cima Coppi (Stelvio summit) should not be missed!
