There's a surplus of products on our planet and in our wardrobes. Our planet doesn't need more products, and if we're conscious in our shopping we can greatly reduce consumption and waste. That's the first small step anyone can achieve that impacts the environment with a 10x effect.

Not only Smart cycling apparel has been our motto since the beginning, but it's also been a guiding design principle behind our products.
Starting from the very first collection onwards, No Gods No Masters® always injects design qualities and technical aspects that allow the use of an item in multiple ways across temperature ranges, disciplines or activities!

Versatility is our motto and design principle.
There are different ways of looking at sustainability as a whole and in our industry. We can talk about recycled fibers or recyclable garments, production, and transportation carbon footprint extensively, but behind all of this, there's one pivotal aspect: our consumption habits and mindset.
If we can't somehow reshape and integrate the concept of responsible consumption into our lives, we're bound to apply only a temporary band-aid.

As a small and independent women-led company, we've taken upon our shoulders the responsibility of our impact on the planet and decided to bring change differently.
Instead of investing in recycled or recyclable materials per se (definitely valuable actions in and of themselves), we've looked not only into reducing the number of steps between the creative idea, the production, and the go-to-market but also into producing timeless collections that can step aside the crunch of the "shiny new drop" mentality.

By being located in northern Italy, the most logical choice was to produce our collections within a 200km radius of our base instead of outsourcing production in far away EU factories or in the Far East. Our garments are therefore made in Italy, while 99% of the fabrics and accessories that go into our garments are also Italian.
This also means that our production costs are higher; however, not only can NGNM products count on impeccable "made in Italy" craftsmanship, but this is the price we gladly pay for impacting the environment less.

In addition to our km-0 production, we've committed to producing gear that can be worn and used in multiple ways. If, as consumers, we'd all start shopping more responsively and smartly by buying multi-purpose items that don't go out of style, we would also do our share in reducing the impact on our planet.
