I hear you! Riding in a mixed group can sometimes be challenging and competitive. Have you ever found yourself struggling to keep up at the back of the group? Or maybe you live in an area with fewer cyclists, let alone women, to share the experience with?
Riding with a new group can be intimidating, as we often assess our skills compared to those around us, fearing that we won’t measure up.
We have been there many times and and this is why we have created these magic United We Are cycling events!
Always Fit In
Let's be honest, riding with women is more fun, and past that initial tension of how one fits in the group, everything else falls into place fairly easily!
What sets United We Are events apart is the unique spirit established from the concept onset. We prioritize camaraderie and mutual empowerment over competition, ensuring that everyone feels included in a meaningful experience and is part of a strong international community.
For example, all events offer 2-3 speed groups so that each one can find a suitable pace, and everyone is encouraged to lend a wheel for those struggling at the back
Milly De Mori, the founder of NGNM, plays a crucial role in every event. She not only serves as a warm and welcoming host and the mastermind behind each UWA event but also takes on the role of a certified cycling guide, leading one of the groups herself.
One of NGNM's key mantras—"United We Are, Lifting as We Climb"—drives these cycling experiences. These events provide the perfect opportunity to embody the principles that the No Gods No Masters brand has always believed in and passionately promotes.
