If you love climbing, the Dolomites is a destination you cannot miss.
Alta Badia is located in a corner of Alto Adige region, bordering with Veneto and Austria.
The beautiful regal presence of these mountains that are famous for their rose-pink hue that shines throughout the day, and fires up at sunset, are the perfect stage set for our cycling adventures up these passes. Make sure to take with you a good camera as you will want to frame each moment to take back with you.

While we won't have a vehicle supporting us during our rides, you'll be guided by NGNM's founder Milly De Mori, who's an experienced guide that knows the territory very well, and will make sure you won't miss the best cake and lunch spot before returning to the hotel.
The modern alpine designed Hotel Cristallo is a stunning 4-star superior facility, that offers half-board, pool and SPA, and is particularly welcoming of cyclists.

When back at the hotel, you can enjoy a series of the stretching - mobility - yoga routines offered by our partner Dynamic Cyclist that you can do at your leisure.
Their app offers a complete suite of exercises, routines and sets for mobility-stretching, yoga, strengthening and injury prevention which will be very useful for preparing our body for the next day.

Depending on your arrival and/or departure time, here's a great opportunity for a short ride to warm up the legs for the following days.

Is it Right For Me?
UWAD is a cycling week-end in the Alps open to women who love climbing and have a good level of training and are used to spending long hours on the saddle.
Elevation gain each day is considerable (minimum 1500m daily) with some long climbing sections (6-12 km long).
Going uphill, each one will go at their own pace, but we'll always regroup up top, stop for taking pictures, get cake and coffee, and have a late lunch before returning to the hotel, or enjoy the Hotel's rich snack buffet from 3-5pm included in your registration.
Weather permitting, consider we'll spend most of the day on our bikes and return to the hotel by early afternoon.
To make sure that this small group is able to stay together as much as possible, it's important to join UWAD with a good overall level of training.

Expect amazing sceneries and smooth asphalt zig-zaging up and down these alpine passes.
You'll feel the majestic energy of these iconic peaks and enjoy the warm Italian hospitality and the international setting.

We've designed a women-exclusive travel package to allow everyone to cycle in an inclusive and friendly environment and meet a diverse international community of cyclists.
Even if you join alone, you'll never be alone, and at the end of the trip, you'll have made lasting friendships and be part of a larger family of cyclists.
However, for those who want to wet their toes ahead of time, come and join our weekly rides on Zwift, Women Crush Weds!
You'll virtually meet some of the participants and experience the No Gods No Masters riding spirit ahead of the expedition.
